Looking good doesn't have to be hard work! We've taken our Spirit classic bike and added a TranzX motor to make it easy to arrive in style. The Raleigh Spirit Electric takes the frame styling of traditional low step cycles and combines it with an elegant front wheel motor that will breeze you around town with the lightest of pedal strokes.

Available in two stylish shades picked from the catwalk, the classic twin tube shaped frame is manufactured in lightweight aluminium with relaxed riding geometry and complimented by swept back steel handlebars allowing a more upright riding position. Supplied with a traditional women's specific Selle Royal saddle, fitted on a lightweight aluminium seat post which allows the saddle to be adjusted forwards and back to perfectly suit your riding position and finished with soft trekking grips with stitching detail, coloured brown to match the saddle.

Gearing is taken care of by the smooth Shimano Nexus 7 speed internal hub which paired with the TranzX motor, will take you up hills and around town with ease. The hub gears are perfect if you want to minimise the maintenance requirements of your new bike as all of the component parts are safely sealed away in the hub, protecting them from ingress of dirt, water and grease. Plus, the Spirit's 400wh battery provides a range of 50 - 80km* dependent on the level of assistance selected.

Motor systems from TransX benefit from new communications technology, which ensures that the motor maximises the battery range, and will allow your dealer to set the bike up for you via a USB link. Handle-mounted power controls are placed close to the grips, so you can easily select from the three power levels, and use the speed button to give you an extra boost for hills. The F15 motor featured on the Raleigh Spirit is a powerful, geared front wheel motor; this provides the bike with great hill climbing assistance and allows you to quickly pull away from a standstill. Adopting the latest gear design allows the motor to be kept relatively small and quiet compared to other front wheel motor systems. The simple LED display indicates the level of power you are using and the remaining battery charge.

The Spirit is a fully equipped bicycle boasting delightfully finished colour matched steel mudguards - perfect for keeping your clothes clean, an aluminium propstand and colour matched rear pannier complete with straps, allowing you to add a stylish rear pannier bag as an alternative to carrying a rucksack. All of the Spirit's graphics are sealed under a clear, protective lacquer coating to make sure your bike is kept pristine no matter where your travels take you and a traditional ding dong bell has been included for safety and style. The bike is finished off with fine details like the bespoke Raleigh design cut into the chain cover and a high quality integrated light set powered by the motor system.

Equipped with 700c standard sized CST Zeppelin tyres specifically suited to electric bikes which boasting a tread pattern suitable for roads, paths and trails. Aluminium double-wall wheel rims have been chosen for strength and a CNC braking surface which provides and better surface for the blocks of the Aluminium V-brakes to brake against improving overall performance.

The Spirit Electric is available in a choice of two colours; Scarlet Red & Mushroom.

TransX F15 Motor
